All units feature a quick-release rotor adapter (no tools required) that accommodates either an 8-Place tube or 4 x 8 PCR strip rotor.
An on/off switch is located on the side of the SonicSpin™ Series Mini Centrifuge for starting and stopping operation. Alternatively, with the switch in the “on” position, the centrifuge can be started and stopped by closing and opening the lid.
The SonicSpin® & SonicSpin® II series Mini Centrifuge features a recessed rotor bowl for spill containment, an externally accessible fuse, and a rubber coated metal base plate for greater stability and reduced vibration. All units feature a worldwide voltage rating (90–240VAC, 50/60Hz).
SonicSpin® & SonicSpin® II Series Mini Centrifuges are supplied with:
- Standard rotor for 8 x 1.5/2.0 ml microtube
- Stripe tube rotor for 4 x 8 PCR Strip
- 8 adapters (inserts) for 0.5 ml microtube
- 8 adapters (inserts) for 0.2 ml PCR tube
- Detachable power cord are also included with every unit.
