The unit features a quick-release rotor adapter (no tools required) that accommodates either an 8-Place tube or 4×8 PCR strip rotor.
The Syclone® Mini Centrifuge features a recessed rotor bowl for spill containment, an externally accessible fuse, and a rubber coated metal base plate for greater stability and reduced vibration. All units feature a worldwide voltage rating (100–240V).
The higher speed rating (8,500rpm/3,884rcf) allows users to spin samples more rapidly or be used in applications where greater g-force is required. To prevent accidental opening during operation, the Syclone® Mini Centrifuge is designed with an innovative dual safety lock lid mechanism that engages once the unit begins operation. To open, simply press the lid release button located on the front of the centrifuge.
